South Tampa Chamber To Host 14th Annual Taste Of South Tampa

SOUTH TAMPA, FL -- Prepare your taste buds for a treat. More than 30 South Tampa restaurants and bars will be on hand at the Tampa Garden Club, 2629 Bayshore Blvd., for the 14th Annual Taste of South Tampa.

The annual event hosted by the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce and presented by Older, Lundy & Alvarez will take place Sunday, March 24 from 1 to 4 p.m.

For the third year, the Tampa Garden Club will be transformed into an outdoor festival offering live entertainment, food samples from local restaurants, a beer garden and the opportunity to win prizes.

“We are thrilled to have so many restaurants return again this year including last year’s people’s choice winner, Flames Indian Cuisine, as well as new additions like La Segunda Bakery & Café, Metro Diner and Shula Burger," said Kelly Flannery, president of the chamber. "Guests will also enjoy a beer garden featuring local brewery 81Bay Brewing Co., and wine from the new South Tampa Wine Bar. With over 30 food and beverage options at the event, there is truly something for everyone and the inclusive price gives attendees the opportunity to try a little bit of everything.”

The ticket price is all-inclusive and includes unlimited food and beverage samples, live entertainment, giveaways from business exhibitors and voting for the “Best of South Tampa” awards.

Advance tickets are available online by clicking here. They are $50 general admission, $40 for members of the military and free for kids under 10. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door on the day of the event for $60.

VIP tickets include access to 12 restaurants inside the clubhouse. They are available in advance only and cost $90.

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Meals on Wheels of Tampa.
