TAMPA, FL — Sparkman Wharf will reopen to the public on Tuesday, May 19 at 3 p.m. with limited hours at container restaurants and under strict safety guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the city of Tampa.

Sparkman Wharf, 615 Channelside Drive, Tampa, has implemented measures to protect its guests, retailers and employees including:

  • Asking staff not to report to work if they experience any coronavirus related symptoms within 72 hours before the start of their shift;
  • Adhering to social distancing guidelines;
  • Limiting occupancy of Sparkman Wharf;
  • Wearing masks or facial coverings and gloves by staff while working or interacting with others;
  • Increasing hand sanitizer stations on the property;
  • Disinfecting common areas including seating, restrooms and dining areas;
  • Removal of lawn games and most furniture.

Sparkman Wharf will be closed Monday. Hours on Tuesday through Thursday are 3 to 9 p.m.; Friday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and noon to 8 p.m. on Memorial Day.

Sparkman Wharf container restaurants reopening on Tuesday include Flock & Stock, Corners, Swigamajig and Boat Run. Fermented Reality Biergarten will remain to-go only. Splitsville will also open. Hours for Splitsville can be found here.

Situated on Tampa's downtown waterfront, Sparkman Wharf features 180,000 square feet of loft-style office space, 65,000 square feet of ground-level retail and a one-acre park with a dining garden, locally sourced biergarten and recreation lawn with programming.
