St. Patrick’s Day 2026: Your Guide To Fun In Tampa Bay

Floridians who plan to join in the global celebration of Irish culture can choose from big and small events, including a parade in downtown Tampa.

The March 17 holiday falls on a Tuesday this year, and many big events will be held the weekend of March 14-15. Originally a modest, religious feast day honoring the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick’s Day today is a vibrant, boisterous holiday observed by millions of people regardless of their heritage.

The Tampa Bay Irish organization presents its second annual Moonshine Music Fest featuring The Men of Aran, Colin Farrell & Dave Curley in concert on March 6-7 at the historic Andrews Memorial Chapel in Dunedin.

Another big event is the Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Parade, March 14, which marches through downtown Tampa after the city dies the Hillsborough River green.

There are a number of festivities planned for March 17, St. Patrick’s Day itself, including Lakewood Ranch St. Patrick’s Day Street Party, a block party along Main Street in Lakewood Ranch.
