Hazardous weather advisories are going up throughout the Bay area.

As another cold front pushes its way through the Tampa Bay region, forecasters at the National Weather Service are warning of the potential for rough weather conditions in the coming days and they’re urging outdoors enthusiasts to exercise caution on local waters.

With storms expected to move into the area Monday, the weather service has issued a rip current statement for the Bay’s coastal areas. The advisory lasts through 4 a.m. Tuesday with a moderate risk of rip current development anticipated.

Swimmers are encouraged to heed lifeguard advice before heading into local waters.
