Publix Stuffed Chicken Dropped, May Contain Undeclared Allergens: USDA
Health officials said in an alert the stuffed chicken Publix sold in FL may contain soy and milk, ingredients not listed on the packaging.

TAMPA, FL â Federal health officials this week issued a public health alert for stuffed chicken sold at Publix stores in Florida. According to the U.S. Department of Agricultureâs Food Safety and Inspection Service, the product may be mislabeled and contain undeclared allergens.
The alert affects this product:
- 12-oz. plastic-wrapped metal containers containing âAprons READY TO COOK MEAL FOR ONE SUN-DRIED TOMATO & CHEESE-STUFFED CHICKEN WITH LEMON-GARLIC POTATOES" with a use-by date of 02/15/2023.
The products have an establishment number of âP-48176â inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to Publix distribution locations in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. A recall wasn't issued because the products are no longer for sale.

According to the alert, the chicken may contain soy and milk. Both are known allergens and may not be declared on the product label.
The products may also be missing the label that includes the list of ingredients and cooking instructions, officials said.

So far, officials have received no confirmed reports of adverse reactions or illness.
Consumers who purchased the products are urged not to eat them. The products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase, officials said.
