Supervisor Of Elections Announces Scholarship Opportunity
Craig Latimer invites college students to apply for a scholarship opportunity provided by the Florida Supervisors of Elections.

Hillsborough County, FL - Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer invites college students to apply for a scholarship opportunity provided by the Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE). The FSE is offering three $1,200 scholarships to eligible Florida residents currently enrolled or accepted as full-time students in a senior college or university in Florida. Hillsborough County residents must apply through the Hillsborough CountySupervisor of Elections Office. The office will review all applications and send one finalist to the FSE Scholarship Committee for consideration. Some of the requirements include the following:

Student must be registered to vote in Florida, and submit their applications to the county in which they are registered.
Student must be majoring in political science, public or business administration, or journalism/mass communication.

Student must have finished two years of junior college or undergraduate work and hold enough credits for enrollment as a junior.
Student must have been a resident of Florida for two years before the current academic year in which the application is made.
Student must be able to demonstrate financial need.

The FSE Scholarship Committee will announce the scholarship recipients at the2020 FSE Summer Conference.
