Swann Avenue Closed Through Friday For Tampa Sewer Main Repairs

TAMPA, FL — West Swann Avenue between South Glen Avenue and Henderson Boulevard is closed while department crews continue repairs on a sewer mainline pipe.

Department crews began the repair Tuesday and only closed the westbound lanes. However, traffic conditions in this area require a complete closure to continue this work.

Traffic control devices will be in place to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Drivers are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.

Safe access will be maintained for homes and businesses in the area.

Completion of the repairs and restoration of the road is expected no later than the close of business on Oct. 28.
