Swimmer Found Dead In Water At Cypress Point Park Beach

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police say a body found at Cypress Point Park beach Friday was that of a man who'd been swimming at the park.

A park visitor spotted the man’s body in the water at the park, 5620 W. Cypress St., and called 911 just before 4 p.m. Tampa Fire Rescue pulled the man’s body from the water.

The police are still investigating the man’s death.
