Tampa Bay Flooding: Shots From Around the Bay

Social media is blowing up with photos of flooding in neighborhoods and along streets throughout the region.

As most of the Tampa Bay area remains under a flood watch until Tuesday evening, residents have been taking to Twitter to show just how bad flooding has become in some areas.

From flooded interstate exits in Hillsborough County to cars under water in Clearwater, the region’s landscape has changed dramatically as buckets of rain continue to fall. Tampa residents have even been spotted paddling down their streets while a police cruiser found itself partially submerged, as well.

Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties remain under a flood watch until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
