Tampa Bay Lightning Playoff Watch Parties Planned
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn is encouraging the community to come out on Wednesday, April 10 for a free concert and watch party,

TAMPA, FL -- Starting this week, blue lights will illuminate bridges, fountains, trees and the Old City Hall throughout Tampa to support the Tampa Bay Lightning’s road to the Stanley Cup.
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn is encouraging the community to come out on Wednesday, April 10 for a free concert and watch party for the Lightning at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa. The concert, featuring Cage the Elephant, will start at 5:15 p.m. and will be followed by the game broadcast. There will be drink specials, food trucks, Lightning alumni and giveaways.
“The Lightning has played one heck of a season and now it’s time to bring home the Cup,” said Buckhorn. “I can’t wait to proudly wear my Lightning gear and cheer on this team to victory!”

Other Official Watch Parties:
Ford Thunder Alley at Amalie Arena will host a watch party Friday, April 12 starting at 7 p.m. when the puck drops. There will be live music, $5 beers, $8 liquor and food specials.

A watch party will take place at North Straub Park, 400 Bayshore Drive N.E., St. Petersburg, on Sunday, April 14 starting at 6 p.m. There will be live music, beer specials, food and giveaways.
Sparkman Wharf at 615 Channelside Drive in Tampa will host a watch party Tuesday, April 16 starting at 6 p.m. The party will include live music, beer specials, food and giveaways.
Ford Thunder Alley at Amalie Arena will host a watch party Friday, April 19 starting at puck drop. It will feature live music, giveaways, $5 beers, $8 liquor drinks and food specials.
Other Places To Watch:
Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill, 1320 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, Wednesday, April 10 from 6 to 11 p.m. There will be DJs, Lightning shots on the surround sound party deck and other specials.
DRIP Vapor, Brew & Kratom Tea Bar, 6166 Gunn Highway, Tampa, April 10, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21 and 23 from 7 to 10 p.m. There wil be drink specials and popcorn all night.
The Brass Tap - Wiregrass, 2000 Piazza Ave, Suite 110, Wesley Chapel, Wednesday, April 10 from 6 to 10 p.m. There will be $4 Yuengling, $4 Blue Moon and $4 Tropical Lightning shots every time the Lightning score.
Pour Taproomm 225 2nd Ave, N., St. Petersburg, on April 10, 12, 14 and 16 from 7 to 10 p.m. 81Bay Brewing Company Lightning Lager will be on tap throughout the playoffs. Wear your Lightning gear and receive 20 percent off your drink tab.
Red Star Rock Bar, 5210 N, Florida Ave., Tampa, will host the Seminole Heights Lightning Fan Club for each playoff game starting April 10. In addition to tuning into the game on all TVs, there will be an outside projector and drink specials..
The Franklin Manor, 912 N. Franklin St., Tampa, will host a Tampa Bay Lightning Playoffs Bar Crawl & Party Saturday, April 13 from 3 to 9 p.m. Thunderbug and the Lightning Girls will be on hand. There will be prize giveaways and a Bud Light Accuracy Shot for a chance to win playoff tickets. Click here for tickets.
O'Brien's Irish Pub, 701 W. Lumsden Road, Brandon, will host a watch party Wednesday, April 10 starting at 7 p.m. It will feature $4 Blue Lightnings, $4 Jack Honey & Jack Fire, $3.25 Coors Light aluminum bottles and a free shot every time the Lightning scores for anyone wearing Lightning gear.
