Tampa Bay Workweek Weather: Cooler Temps, Some Rain

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents who aren’t quite ready to say goodbye to temperatures in the 70-degree range should enjoy much of the week ahead.
According to the National Weather Service, the coming week will deliver a few days where highs aren’t quite expected to break the 80-degree mark. Forecasters do warn that a little rain may fall to make that so.
Monday kicks things off with a slight chance of rain in much of the Bay area. The day’s high is expected to reach the upper 70s to low 80s. A mostly clear night with a low down in the lower 60s is anticipated in much of the region.

Tuesday begins a slight warming trend, but it’s not expected to last long. Sunny conditions dominate the forecast Tuesday with a high in the low 80s anticipated. The overnight low should fall to about 60 degrees.
Wednesday brings more sunshine and a high around 82 expected. Conditions overnight usher in a change with a low in the mid-60s expected along with a 40 percent chance of showers. Rain chances persist at 40 percent heading into Thursday when the high is expected to only reach about 77 degrees in much of the area. Storms should clear out by Thursday night when the low is expected to drop to about 60 degrees.

Cooler weather is expected to stick around Friday with sunny conditions forecast and a high in the upper 70s. The night's low is expected to fall into the upper 50s.
The weekend is forecast to be mostly sunny with a daytime high on Saturday in the low 70s. Sunday’s high is anticipated to reach the upper 70s.
