Tampa Bay Workweek Weather: Sunshine, Rain Both On Tap

Find out what's in store for the Tampa Bay area as the week continues.

TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Bay area is in for a week of ups and downs with sunshine and rain both in the forecast. Heat, however, is one thing anticipated to remain constant in the days ahead.

According to the National Weather Service, daily highs should reach the mid- to upper 80s in much of the region. Monday kicks things off with mostly sunny conditions and that anticipated high in the mid-80s. The overnight low is expected to only fall into the upper 60s with a 50 percent chance of showers anticipated before 1 a.m.

Monday’s rains won’t do much to cool things down heading into Tuesday either, forecasters say. A high in the mid- to upper 80s is once again expected with a 10 percent chance of showers in the evening hours. Rain chances increase heading into the overnight hours when the low is again anticipated to drop to the upper 60s. While rain is expected Monday and Tuesday, forecasters aren’t expecting severe storms to roll into the Bay area.

Here’s how forecasters expect the rest of the workweek to shape up in the Tampa Bay area:

Wednesday

  • High temperature – Mid- to upper 80s
  • Low temperature – Upper 60s
  • Rain chances – Not anticipated

Thursday

  • High temperature – Mid- to upper 80s
  • Low temperature – Around 70 degrees
  • Rain chances – Not expected

Friday

  • High temperature – Mid- to upper 80s
  • Low temperature – Around 70 degrees
  • Rain chances – not expected

Warm, sunny days are expected to continue into the weekend with rain not in the forecast as of Monday.
