Tampa Family Seeks Answers In Shooting Death Of 17-Year-Old
Detectives and the family of 17-year-old Marqueas Williams are asking for help to identify the person responsible for his death.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police detectives and the family of 17-year-old Marqueas Williams are asking for the public's help to identify the person responsible for his death.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $5,000 fo rinformation that leads to the identification and arrest of the person responsible for Marqueas Williams's death. Anyone with information who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online or send a mobile tip using the P3 Tips Mobile application.
On Nov. 2 at 8:01 a.m., police found Williams shot in the upper body at North 29th Street and East 19th Avenue in Tampa. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

During the investigation, detectives gathered surveillance video showing three people in the area at the time of the shooting. While these people are not suspects, detectives would like to speak with them to see if they can provide information that will assist in the case.
Williams' family has authorized the release of his name and provided a photograph of Williams (whose nickname was Papi') in the hopes someone in the community may have information about the shooting.
