TAMPA, FL — A 9-year-old girl was found safe Monday, but the whereabouts of a woman taken with her are still unknown, after the two disappeared from the 10400 block of Altman Street, Tampa Police said. The abductor has been found dead.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Monday that Briana Pagan had been safely found after disappearing Sunday. The location of 34-year-old Sylvia Pagan, who is reportedly Briana's mother, was unknown. An Amber alert did not identify Pagan as Briana's mother.
