TAMPA, FL — Residents who are often overlooked received a little extra love for Valentine’s Day thanks to the Primrose School of South Tampa.
This week, kindergarten class at the school at 1700 W. Kennedy Blvd. spread cheer to residents at Allegro Senior Living, 800 W. Azeele St., by delivering handmade valentines and participating in a “What Love Is” virtual program via Zoom in which they sang love songs, read the “In My Heart” book and shared what love means to them.
So what does love mean to a 4- or 5-year-old? Answers included “love is caring,” “love is friends” and “love is hugs.”
