Tampa Man Charged in Dale Mabry Dump Truck Crash
The overturned truck closed a lane for a time Tuesday night.

A 62-year-old Tampa man was cited for causing a single-vehicle crash on Dale Mabry Tuesday night that closed a northbound lane to traffic.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 10:19 p.m. as Antonio Rodriguez was driving an unloaded dump truck. Troopers say Rodriguez was exiting the work zone onto Dale Mabry Highway with the truckâs dump bed raised.
As the truck traveled under Interstate 275, it struck the overpass, causing minor damage. The impact caused the dump truck to overturn.

Rodriguez suffered minor injuries in the accident. He was taken to St. Josephâs Hospital for treatment.
Troopers say Rodriquez was cited for driving on an suspended license and for careless driving.
