Tampa Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Of 2 Men Following Fight

​Tampa police are investigating the fatal shooting of two people following a fight between two groups of men on Monday.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating the fatal shooting of two people following a fight between two groups of men on Monday.

At 7:24 p.m., officers were called to a shooting in the 8100 block of North Brooks Street and found an 18-year-old in a car with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he died.

During the investigation, police learned there was a second shooting victim. A 27-year-old man had been taken to AdventHealth in Tampa with gunshot wounds. He died at the hospital.

Police said they received a call earlier Monday evening regarding a fight between two groups of men. The groups left the area but returned an hour later and exchanged gunfire.
