Tampa Police Need Help Solving Homicide

A man's body was found in a car on Saturday and Tampa Police are asking the public for any information that might lead to an arrest.

TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Police Department needs help solving a murder mystery that began to unfold over the weekend.

According to the agency, officers found Pablo Bautista, 49, dead inside a red Honda Civic that was parked near 49th Street and 10th Avenue Saturday evening. Bautista, the agency wrote in an email to media, died as a result of upper body trauma.

Police are now asking for anyone with information related to Bautista’s death to come forward. Tips related to the case may be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 800-873-TIPS.
