Tampa Police Seek Information On Shooting That Killed 2

Tampa Police are continuing to investigate an early-morning shooting that killed a 43-year-old and a 29-year-old man Saturday.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Police are continuing to investigate an early-morning shooting that killed a 43-year-old and a 29-year-old man Saturday.

Police were called to East 7th Avenue and North 20th Street at 1:51 a.m. by witnesses who reported the shootings. The shooter fled the scene north on North 20th Street before police arrived.

In addition to the two men who were fatally shot, a 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old man are in serious but stable condition at the hospital.

The shooter is described as 25 to 35 years old, black with a thin build, weighing 135 to 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, dark-colored face mask, black short and white sneakers.

Police say the shooting does not appear to be random. Detectives are working with local business owners to determine if any surveillance video may be available.
