Tampa Police Seek Man Who Shot Gentlemen's Club Bouncer
Tampa Police are searching for a man who shot a bouncer and a patron at the Dreams Gentlemen's Club in Ybor City.
TAMPA, FL – Tampa Police are searching for a man who shot a bouncer and a patron at the Dreams Gentlemen’s Club in Tampa.
According to police, club bouncer Lavon B. Rowells, 33, was trying to break up a fight occurring outside the Ybor City club at 4218 E.. 7th Ave. between Henry R. Norton, 38, and an unknown man around 12:24 a.m. April 8.
The unknown man pulled out a gun and shot both Norton and Rowells in the back. He then fled on foot.

The unknown man is a black male with short hair, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt and jeans. He may have been driving or riding in a silver or gray Dodge Dart. Surveillance video in the club captured the man's image.
Both Rowells and Norton survived their gunshot wounds.
