The Tampa Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of Stratford Avenue East and Avon Avenue North early Wednesday morning.
According to the department, a group of people were hanging out in the area drinking when a known person pulled up in a car and inquired about an “ongoing feud.”

Detectives say shots were fired and a woman was struck in the arm. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
While the case remains under investigation, detectives say they have strong leads.
