Tampa Spring College Graduates Recognized

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Patch is recognizing spring college graduates from Tampa.

Tallahassee Community College

Tallahassee Community College will recognize more than 3,000 graduates during the college's commencement ceremony on May 2. The following local students are set to earn their degrees:

• Yahaira Baez-Beras of Tampa
• Tatiyana Gardner of Tampa

Florida State University

Greta Smith of Tampa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of arts degree in theater.

Ashley Balavender of South Tampa graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor of science degree in management information systems.

University of Tampa

The University of Tampa virtually hosted its 150th commencement on May 9 to honor 1,752 degree-seeking candidates.

The following local students graduated from The University of Tampa:

• Jordan Aleman of Tampa graduated with a bachelor of fine arts in graphic design.
• Diego De Rutte De la Cruz of Tampa graduated with a master of business administration in business.
• Ethan Fink of Tampa graduated with a bachelor of science in accounting.
• Garrett Lohner of Tampa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in business information technology.
• Chase Psinakis of Tampa graduated with a bachelor of science in entrepreneurship.
• Julia Rogers of Tampa graduated with a bachelor science in nursing.
• Bradley Spear of Tampa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in athletic training.

Georgia Tech

Lindsay Peterson of Tampa has earned a bachelor of science in public policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Youngstown State University

Shelby Dodge of Tampa has been awarded a bachelor arts in communications studies in the social media track during the university's spring commencement.

Clemson University

Millicent G. Lethco of Tampa graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education.

University of Iowa

Abby Rinaldi Tampa among the 5,700 students to graduate this spring from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Rinaldi was student in the graduate college whose program of study was journalism. The degree awarded was a master of arts.
