Thanksgiving Week 2015 Weather: Tampa Bay

That break from unseasonably warm temperatures Tampa Bay area residents have hoped for has arrived, but it isn’t expected to stick around throughout Thanksgiving week.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday kicks off the week with the coolest high temperature the region has witnessed in a long time. The day should be a sunny one with a high around 68 degrees. The overnight low is expected to fall to about 51 degrees.

Tuesday brings slightly warmer temperatures with a high in the low 70s anticipated and sunny conditions. The overnight low should fall to about 61 degrees.

A warming trend is expected to show itself Wednesday when the high climbs back up into the upper 70s with a low in the mid-60s. The good news is that forecasters don’t anticipate rain.

Thanksgiving Thursday is anticipated to be a balmy 81 degrees in much of the Bay with sunshine in the cards. The low that evening should drop to the mid-60s. Friday caps off the week with similar, but slightly warmer conditions.

Highs in the low 80s and relatively low rain chances are expected to stick around through the weekend.
