Garth Brooks Adds 3rd Tampa Show

Garth Brooks fans don’t have to drive out of the Tampa Bay area to see the famed country performer live on stage.

The renowned crooner of such hits as “Shameless” and “Friends in Low Places” is making his way to the Amalie Arena for performances June 5 and 6 at 7 p.m. both nights. Trisha Yearwood will open for Brooks on his World Tour.

Brooks announced the addition of a third Tampa appearance Friday. That concert will begin at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, following the conclusion of the 7 p.m. show.

Tickets for the show, Brooks’ first Tampa appearance in more than 16 years, are now on sale. Fans are limited to eight tickets each. The cost will set folks back $74.98 for each ticket, which is an all-inclusive price, according to the arena.
