Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival

The free, two-day Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-23, will feature five top-name national and regional musical acts each day along with a smorgasbord of seafood dishes prepared by some of Tampa Bay's most innovative seafood chefs.

Gates open at 2 p.m. each day at Coachman Park.

St. Stefano's Super Greek Festival

St. Stefanos' Super Greek Festival will take place Friday through Sunday, Feb. 21-23 at St. Stefano's Orthodox Church, 3600 76th St. N., St. Petersburg.

The event features Greek cuisine made from scratch by parishioners, favorite Greek pastries, Greek beer and ouzo in the 20,000-square-foot beer, wine and ouzo garden, Greek merchandise vendors, a live band performing traditional Greek music, Greek dancer performances, guided tours of St. Stefano's and rides, bounce houses, a rock wall and games for the kids.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Wings, Wheels & Wine Fundraiser

The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation will host the fifth annual Wings, Wheels & Wine fundraiser to benefit area residents with special needs Saturday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. in the Clearwater Airpark's 10,000-square-foot hangar, 1000 N. Hercules Ave., Clearwater.

This event will showcase classic and exotic cars, airplanes and boats. Patrons will be treated to a full dinner from Clear Sky Beachside Café, an open bar and a wine pull while enjoying live music from Tampa Bay band Whiskey Throttle. A silent and live auction showcasing unique items and experiences will take place throughout the evening.

Tickets are available starting at $125 per person and may be purchased at The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation’s website.

Roaring '20s Charity Gala

Congregation Beth Shalom of Brandon will hold its annual fundraiser at the Elks Lodge of Brandon, 800 Centennial Lodge Drive, Brandon, Saturday, Feb. 22, starting at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s event is a Roaring '20s Charity Gala with special honorary co-chairman, U.S. Rep. Ross Spano, R-Riverview. Congregation Beth Shalom will partner with the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and proceeds of the evening will be shared with SOWF to ensure full college funding to every surviving child of a special operator who loses his or her life in the line of duty. SOWF also provides immediate financial assistance to hospitalized wounded, ill and injured service members so their families can be at their bedsides.

The evening will feature door prizes, free Gatsby photos, dancing, a buffet dinner and both live and silent auctions. Highlighting the evening is the speakeasy show with headliner R&B star David Morris, who will perform songs from 1920s to 2020s including songs from his newly released album. There will also be speakeasy dancers to teach the Charleston, so wear your best flapper outfit and party like it’s 1929.

Tickets cost $45 for adults (active military and veterans get 20 percent off), $15 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children under 5 years. Tickets may be purchased by phone at 813-681-6547 or online.

Farm Night BBQ

Farm Night BBQ returns for its fifth year in Temple Terrace on Friday, Feb. 21 from 6 to 10 p.m.
Hosted by M&B Products, a Temple Terrace-based dairy at 8601 Harney Road, the 2020 event serves as a fundraiser with profits split between the city's Leisure Services Department, which encompasses the Parks and Recreation division and the library, and Focus Academy, a local charter school for students with special needs.

Advance tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children under 18 (preschoolers are admitted for free), and can be purchased at the Temple Terrace City Hall, the Family Recreation Complex, the Uptown Chamber of Commerce office or online. VIP tickets also are available. Limited tickets may be available the night at event for $30.

Farm Night attendees will enjoy all-you-can-eat barbecue ribs, chicken and brisket with sides including coleslaw, baked beans, collard greens, fried green tomatoes and okra, as well as ice cream and strawberry shortcake. There also will be a cash bar offering beer and wine.

Attendees are invited to dance to the music of the Southern Express Bluegrass Band and Charlie Imes and his Band, featuring Roger Bartlett, the original lead guitarist for Jimmy Buffet.

A family-friendly event, there will be farm equipment on display, a butter-making exhibit, hayrides and other agricultural activities from Hillsborough County Ag-Venture.
Former University of Florida Gator Dr. Charles "Chip"Hinton, one of the 1960s freshmen football players who volunteered to be a Gatorade guinea pig when the drink was developed at UF, will give a presentation.

East-West Music & Dance Festival

The first East-West Music & Dance Festival will bring eastern and western artists from the Tampa Bay community and beyond together for a one-of-a-kind event to showcase the talents of musicians and dance performers.

The festival on Sunday, Feb. 23 from noon to 6 p.m. at Water Works Park, Water Works Park, 1710 N. Highland Ave., Tampa, will feature both small and large group performances. Highlighting the festival will be performances from authentic African musicians, vibrant drummers, colorful Indian dancers, sensual Flamenco performers and more.

This all-day family-friendly event will also feature multicultural activities, food vendors and a kids' play area. The event is supported by a Special Events Partnership Grant from the Cultural Arts Commission, part of the Arts Council of Hillsborough County, and hosted by Tampa’s Shruti Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting Indian and world culture in Tampa Bay through music and dance.

Tickets for the event are $10 in advance or $15 the day of the festival.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles

The 10th annual Planes, Trains & Automobiles will take place at the Plant City Airport, 4007 Airport Road, Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be free flights for kids ages 8 to 17, Boy Scot merit badge opportunities, Cub Scout activities, vendors, a kids' play area, planes and helicopters on display, radio-controlled planes, model trains, K-9 demonstrations, computer flight simulator. vehicles from the Plant City Police and Fire departments and CSX safety demonstrations.

Admission is free. Parking is $5.
