Tornado Warning Issued For MacDill, South Tampa

TAMPA, FL — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for MacDill Air Force Base and South Tampa.

The weather service said water spouts have been detected in the Gulf. There are indications of strong wind sheer and 45 mph winds, which may spawn tornadoes. Residents should take cover and stay inside as the storm moves northeast at 17 mph.
