Update: Traffic Lights Back on at Several Tampa Intersections
A power outage took the traffic lights completely offline.

Update Dec. 18, 9:05 a.m.: The Tampa Police Department reports that the traffic lights are functioning again.

The Tampa Police Department is warning motorists that some of the traffic lights around town are out Thursday morning due to an issue with power.

The following areas are completely without power for their traffic lights:
- North Armenia and West Waters Avenue
- West Sligh between North Rome and North Boulevard
- West Busch Boulevard and North Armenia Avenue
Tampa Electric Co. is working on the repairs and Tampa police are on the way to direct traffic at the affected intersections.
