Additional Information:
After recently winning a 10 year legal battle that had threatened to shut down the Pinellas County based international bio-tech company and halted R & D efforts, Alps South is now increasing staff and is ready to launch several industry changing products invented at Alps, that will be demonstrated at this press event including:
i-force – a device fabricated into the prosthesis of new amputees that will communicate via smart-phone app to the user and the Certified Prosthetist, which recommends sock ply management for volume fluctuations the amputees will see throughout the day and over time. Ultimately the i-force reduces/prevents ill-fitting sockets and pressure related complications that are not easy to overcome especially for poor vascular users.
Neural Control Interface- A liner interface that picks up the neural signals at the muscle belly to help intuitively control the prosthesis.
This event is by invitation only. Please RSVP to 360kellyd@gmail.com at 360 Degrees PR by Tuesday May 6, 2014, if you plan to attend this event, as space is limited.
