TAMPA, FL — Whether it's to bake a pie or create a jack o' lantern, humans know just what to do when they receive a pumpkin. But it's an entirely different matter for the animals at Busch Gardens, many of which have never seen a pumpkin before.

In honor of National Pumpkin Day, the theme park presented the animals with their own pumpkins, and the reactions to these strange round, orange gifts varied.

The leopards treated them like a ball, sending them rolling and then chasing them.
