TAMPA, FL — Christmas came early at Busch Gardens Tampa with the arrival of two cheetah cubs.

Guests might “spot” these adorable brothers during a feeding with their care team in the Animal Care Center. The cubs’ feeding schedule is subject to change as they continue to grow and acclimate to their new home.

The yet-to-be-named pair were sent to Busch Gardens because their mother was not providing adequate care for them, according to park officials.

“The care team and veterinarians at Busch Gardens are hand-raising these cubs, which arrived from another zoological facility earlier this year,” said park officials. “Some species of animal moms struggle to care for an entire litter the first time. After observing mom’s care, the best opportunity for these cubs to thrive was under human care.”

Fans can follow the park’s social media channels for additional updates as the cubs prepare to make their debut at the cheetah habitat.
