Tampa custom home builder, Javic Homes, is excited to partner with W Painting and Vahallan Papers for painting and wallpapering the Tampa Southern Living Custom Builder Showcase Home, which will be open March 27 – May 4, 2014. The 5,000 square foot West Indies style home will be open to the public for tours from 10am – 4pm with special events happening each day.

In order to stay true to the home’s West Indies inspiration and it’s beautiful setting on Tampa Bay, the home will feature a palette of blues and beiges painted by W Painting. W Painting will be using Sherwin Williams paint, a 2014 Showcase Home National Partner, to paint the interior and exterior walls of the home in addition to various built-ins and the garage doors. The 7 ¼” baseboard and crown molding throughout the home will be painted with an oil based paint that creates a beautiful sheen and crisp finish.

The powder bath will feature a pop of both color and texture with wallpaper from Vahallan Papers’ Linear Collection. Vahallan Papers was created to fill the need for wallpaper that is easy to repair and install. Their wallpaper is applied in multiple separate panels. Each panel is hand painted with exact detail. As a Tampa home builder, Javic appreciates the care and craftsmanship that both W Painting and Vahallan Papers show throughout construction. The home will be open for 6 weeks with all proceeds from admission benefiting two non-profit partners, Operation Finally Home and All Children’s Hospital.
