Warmer Weather On The Way
The Tampa Bay area will heat up just a bit as the weekend approaches.

Tampa Bay area residents hoping to defrost after Thursday morningâs chill will get their chance, but it comes with a caveat.
The National Weather Service is calling for the chill to continue through Thursday with highs that arenât expected to reach the 60-mark in most parts of the region. The overnight low is expected to fall into the upper 40s.
Friday will bring slightly warmer temperatures with a high in the mid-60s expected and another night of lows down in the 40s.

When the weekend arrives, sunshine and warmer temperatures are anticipated. Saturdayâs high is expected to reach the upper 60s while a return of the mid-70s should appear by Sunday.
The tail end of the weekend and Monday, however, also deliver rain chances with those warmer temperatures. As of Thursday morning, forecasters were calling for a 20 percent chance of rain Sunday and 40 percent chance on Monday.
