Watch: Buckets Blakes Nails Shot From Amalie Arena Roof
The Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their brand of entertainment to Tampa on Wednesday.
TAMPA, FL — Amazing trick shots, on-the-court antics and athleticism have made the Harlem Globetrotters famous the world over. Bucket Blakes proved just why that is by pulling off a trick shot from the rooftop of Tampa’s Amalie Arena recently.
Blakes lined up for the shot from the arena’s roof and managed to land a basket on the ground below with ease. His stunt is just the latest in a string of similar slam dunks made by team members at Madison Square Garden and the Staples Center.
The Globetrotters are bouncing into town on Wednesday, March 2, to bring their 90th anniversary World Tour to the Amalie Arena. The game starts at 7 p.m.
