Weekend Forecast: Warmer Weather On Its Way

Sunshine dominates Tampa Bay's weekend.

Tampa Bay area residents hoping to defrost after Friday morning’s chill are in luck.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service are predicting a much warmer weekend in store for the region. In order to get to those warmer temperatures, however, residents will have to endure one more day of cold. Friday’s high is expected to only climb into the mid-50s while lows will drop down into the upper 30s and low 40s.

The cold moves out on Saturday with highs expected to reach the low 70s with overnight lows in the upper 50s. Sunday brings a high in the upper 70s for most of the region with a low around 60.
