Weekend Weather: Flooding Possible in Some Areas
Find out what's in store for the Tampa Bay area this weekend.

Tampa Bay area residents may find themselves a bit waterlogged over the weekend.
The National Weather Service is calling for a strong chance of rain throughout the weekend. The good news, however, is that temperatures are anticipated to remain a bit lower as a result.
While no widespread severe weather is anticipated, forecasters say the potential for locally heavy rainfall is also increasing the chances of flooding over the next few days. In addition, thunderstorms that move into the area do have the potential to create strong winds and frequent lightning strikes.
