FL Grocery Store Hours On New Year's: Publix, Sprouts, Walmart

FLORIDA — Champagne - check. Chips and dip - check. New Year's party noisemakers - uh-oh.

No need to worry. A number of Florida grocery stores will be open late on New Year's Eve as well as on New Year's Day.

Publix

All Publix stories will be open at regular hours and close at 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
On New Year's Day, Publix stores located in the following Florida counties will open at 7 a.m.: Broward, Dade, Indian River, Martin, Monroe, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie. All other stores open at regular hours. Many stores will close at 7 p.m.; stores in select areas will close later. Locate a store near you for specific store hours. All Publix pharmacies are closed on New Year’s Day.

Aldi

Aldi will be opened limited hours on New Year's Eve and will be closed New Year's Day.

Walmart

Walmart will be open regular hours on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Target

Target will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. New Year's Day.

Walgreens

Walgreens will be open regular hours on New Year's Eve and Day.

Trader Joe's

Trader Joe's will close at 6 p.m. New Year's Eve and will remain closed on New Year's Day.

Costco

Costco will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New Year's Even and closed New Year's Day.

Sam's Club

Sam's Club will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve and closed New Year's Day.

Albertsons

Albertsons will either be closed or have adjusted hours on New Year's Eve and Day. Contact your local store.

Sprouts

Sprouts will be closed on New Year's Eve and open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. New Year's Day.

Safeway

Safeway will be open until 10 p.m. on New Year's Eve with normal New Year's Day hours.

The Fresh Market

Fresh Market will close at 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

Whole Foods

Whole Foods will be open until 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve and open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on New Year's Day.

Save Mart

Save Mart will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on New Year's Eve and from 6 a.m. to midnight on New Year's Day.

Save A Lot

Most Save A Lot stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Walgreens

Most Walgreeens stores will be open regular hours on New Year's Eve but several have special hours. Pharmacy hours vary.

CVS

Many CVS locations will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day including the pharmacy, though hours may depend on the location.

Winn-Dixie

Winn-Dixie will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
