Who Shot Calvin Engram? Crime Stoppers Offering $9,500 Reward

Calvin Engram was walking from his home to a nearby gas station to get his morning coffee when he was fatally shot.

TAMPA, FL — A reward of $9,500 is being offered for tips that lead to the arrest of the person who shot and killed 50-year-old Tampa resident Calvin Engram.

Around 5 a.m. on Nov. 4, Engram was walking from his home to a nearby gas station to get coffee, something he did every morning before heading to work.

A short time later, shots were heard on 32nd Street North near Mohawk Avenue East. Engram was found with gunshot wounds and later died.

Investigators do not believe the shooter stole anything from Engram and there is no indication that Engram was involved in an altercation.

Video surveillance from a nearby business shows a dark-colored car in the area at the time of the shooting that left the scene at a high rate of speed.

In addition to the 5,000 reward being offered by Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, the Florida Association of Crime Stoppers has added a $4,500 reward.

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest and wants to be eligible for the reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online or send a mobile tip using the P3 Tips Mobile application.
