TAMPA, FL — Willa’s – the neighborhood restaurant and bar from Tampa natives Nate Siegel and Merrin Jenkins – is now serving weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

From 3 to 5 p.m., guests can enjoy an in-between menu of snacks and light bites alongside the full bar as the kitchen flips for dinner.

The brunch menu offers classic brunch fare like a cafe breakfast with thick-cut Nueske bacon, chili cheese grits and soft scrambled eggs, thin pancakes with apple butter and honey citrus syrup, huevos rancheros with homemade chorizo, avocado and pico de gallo, potato onion latkes with charred scallion créme fraÎche and apple butter, and sweet options like French toast topped with fruit compote, syrup, pastry cream and brown butter almonds.

Sandwiches and salads will round out the menu, including Croque Monsieur with gruyère, mornay and jambon de paris on sourdough bread, a pork belly double-mash cheeseburger with comeback sauce and a sunny side egg on an English muffin with crispy frites, and Fred's roasted chicken salad with pears, corn, haricot verts, tomatoes, onion and drizzled with balsamic vinegar.

Plus, guests can enjoy cheddar and chive biscuits, cinnamon sugar crullers and a flavorful New York-style appetizing bagel board with house gravlax, smoked whitefish salad, tomato, onion and accoutrements, and classic poutine with frites, sunny egg, cheese curds, red-eye gravy and scallions.

To drink, guests can choose from a selection of fresh brunch cocktails, including a green bloody mary with tequila, celery and tomatillo, a cucumber southside with chartreuse, lime and mint, an iced chai Irish coffee with King State cold brew, whiskey and oat milk, a bourbon peach smash with mint and lemon and a spicy michelada with house hot sauce and lime. Rosé sangria, Willa’s Famous Parsley Pepper Margarita and espresso martinis round out the cocktail menu.

“Our menu draws influences from different brunch styles with dishes ranging from quick and indulgent to clean and flavorful,” said co-founder Nate Siegel. “It’s great for families, including a thoughtful kids' menu, and our petite patio is perfect for al fresco dining with friends or your pup. Brunch at Willa’s is only eight hours a week, so we’ve made it a really special way to enjoy completely different items you can’t get the rest of the week.”

Willa’s opened in March 2021 inside a century-old industrial warehouse in North Hyde Park, serving a classic American menu with French influences. Centered on a deep sense of hospitality, the restaurant is an easygoing gathering space boasting an extensive menu of eclectic, familiar recipes and daily specials including rotisserie chicken, fresh seafood and steak frites, and many menu items that are vegetarian or vegan.

Daily newspapers are available. Reservations are available via Resy but not required.

Next door, Willa’s sister restaurant, Willa’s Provisions, is a casual, all-day café that also offers retail, including a curated selection of pantry staples, home goods and Willa’s merchandise.

During the day Willa’s Provisions serves coffee from King State Coffee, and organic tea and matcha from Rishi Tea & Botanicals. When the sun goes down, it transforms into a moody, candle-lit amari bar, perfect for date night or grabbing a drink with friends.
