Woman Hangs Up After Calling 911 To Say She Shot Someone
Tampa police have made an arrest in the fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday at the Palm Avenue Apartments 10610 N. 30th St.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Police have arrested 27-year-old Joilica Sutherland and charged her with manslaughter in the shooting death of a 28-year-old man Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday afternoon, Sutherland surrendered herself to detectives and identified herself as the 911 caller who called at 10:25 a.m. and told the dispatcher she shot someone at the Palm Avenue Apartments, 10610 N. 30th St.
Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound. Tampa Fire Rescue took the man to the hospital where he later died.

Although the caller was no longer at the apartment, officers found a gun on a couch.
Police confirmed that the gun recovered from her apartment was the firearm she used to shoot the man.

Sutherland was taken to the Orient Road Jail.
