Women In Radio Announces New Membership Program
Miami-based organization is supporting the advancement of women in the radio industry.

MIAMI, Fla. (September 23, 2019) – Women In Radio (WIR) will launch a new membership program on September 30, which will offer affiliates access to exclusive professional opportunities, one-on-one consultations, and much more. The organization supports and encourages the advancement of women in the radio industry.
“Developing a space that offers support to women in an industry that is male dominate was important to me,” said Meaghan Taylor, Founder of Women In Radio. “This organization was created due to a need for mentorship and professional development that, many women such as myself, experience at the beginning of your radio career.”
This new program offers three levels of membership including Month to Month ($9.99), Annual ($100), and Lifetime ($500). Each tier includes access to resources in an eLearning Center, updates on upcoming WIR events, professional development consultations, and discounted merchandise.

Each year the organization hosts an annual event that allows attendees to learn from a panel of women in the industry. Past panelist includes Power 105.1’s Angela Yee and Honey German, Hot 97’s Jen from BK, iHeartMedia’s Thea Mitchem and Helen Little, and WNSH-FM’s Katie Neal.
