Workweek Weather: Balmy Conditions Return

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents ready for the return of warmer weather are likely to enjoy what’s in store for the week ahead.
According to the National Weather Service, the workweek should be packed with lots of sunshine and warmer daytime and overnight temperatures. Monday kicks things off with sunny conditions and an anticipated high in the upper 70s. An overnight low in the mid-50s with clear skies is expected. Tuesday is expected to bring similar conditions with slightly warmer temperatures.
Here’s how the rest of the week is expected to shape up:
Wednesday
- High temperature – Around 80
- Low temperature – Low 60s
- Rain chances – Not anticipated
Thursday
- High temperature – Low 80s
- Low temperature – Mid-60s
- Rain chances – Not anticipated
Friday
- High temperature – Low 80s
- Low temperature – Mid-60s
- Rain chances – About a 20 percent chance of showers
The weekend kicks off with a slightly cooler Saturday expected with a high back in the upper 70s. There’s a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for the start of the weekend, as well. Slightly cooler temperatures are expected to stick around through Sunday.
