Workweek Weather: What to Expect

Find out what's in store in Tampa Bay area weather for the week of March 16.

As spring break season swings into full gear in the Tampa Bay area, residents and visitors alike should find Mother Nature most cooperative in regard to outdoor plans this week.

According to the National Weather Service, the week of March 16 kicks off with sunny and warm conditions throughout the Bay. The forecast calls for highs in the upper 70s to low 80s during the workweek and lows down in the mid-60s most evenings.

Rain chances weren’t part of the weather service’s forecast for the workweek as of Monday morning, but they do creep back into the picture starting this weekend.

While rain isn’t a strong possibility during the week, forecasters do warn Bay area motorists that fog could continue to be a problem on local roads during the overnight and early morning hours. Motorists who encounter fog are urged to slow down and use their low beams.
