Workweek Weather: What to Expect

Tampa Bay area residents hoping the weekend’s taste of fall will hang on a little longer should be happy with the forecast over the next few days.

While forecasters at the National Weather Service expect temperatures to slowly climb, mild conditions should stick around for the first few days of the week. Monday is expected to bring a high in the low 80s followed by a low down in the upper 60s. Rain chances are low with only patchy drizzle anticipated.

Tuesday is expected to be a near picture-perfect day with a high in the mid-80s and mostly sunny conditions forecast. The overnight low should drop into the low 70s with partly cloudy conditions.

Here’s a look at what forecasters expect for the rest of the week:

Wednesday

  • High temperature – Mid-80s
  • Low temperature – Low 70s
  • Rain chances – About 20 percent during the day and evening hours with isolated thunderstorms possible.

Thursday

  • High temperature – Mid-80s
  • Low temperature – Low- to mid-70s
  • Rain chances – About a 30 percent chance of scattered showers during the day and evening hours.

Friday

  • High temperature – Mid- to upper 80s
  • Low temperature – Around 75
  • Rain chances – About 30 percent during the day and evening hours.

Saturday is anticipated to be a near repeat of Friday.
