World's Oldest Yoga Instructor Comes to St. Pete
FREE Health, Wellness & Anti-Aging Expo at The Mahaffey Theater

What: A yoga class accompanied by wine? It sounds too good to be true. Over 250 residents have already signed up to join the Guinness Certified World’s Oldest Yoga Instructor, Tao Porchon Lynch, as she leads them in a yoga session as part of the Be Inspired St. Pete event.
Tao started practicing yoga in 1926. In 2012, she was named Oldest Yoga Instructor by Guinness World Records. She is unique in her ability to overcome the effects of aging to control her body and mind in harmony with Yoga’s principles. Tao’s philosophy is, “There is nothing we cannot do if we harness the power within us.” She has inspired people around the world and spoken on peace panels with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
The outdoor yoga session will take place along the waterfront on the lawn between the Mahaffey Theater and the Dali Museum. In addition, event-goers can also enjoy free wine tasting, live music, free medical screenings, and an age-prevention & hormone education session led by Cleveland Clinic-Trained physician, Dr. Lora Brown.
