WWE Champ Liv Morgan Arrested In FL On Drug Charges

The 29-year-old former SmackDown women's champion was arrested after marijuana was found in her vehicle in Sumter County, reports say.

BUSHNELL — WWE star Liv Morgan, 29, was arrested Thursday on drug charges after Sumter County authorities found marijuana in her vehicle, according to media reports and jail records.

Morgan, whose birth name is Gionna Daddio, was stopped after erratically driving in Bushnell, near Orlando, per USA Today, citing an arrest report.

The deputy smelled marijuana while approaching Morgan's vehicle, both Fox 13 Tampa Bay and USA Today reported.

Morgan confessed to having marijuana in her vehicle, and deputies found a plastic bag with marijuana and a vape pen with an "oil-like substance," per USA Today.

According to Sumter County Jail records, Morgan was charged on suspicion of possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams and possession of a synthetic cannabinoid. She was released on a $3,000 bond at 10:04 p.m., about three hours after being arrested, jail records show.

Morgan has not performed in the WWE arena since July after suffering a shoulder injury, according to the Bleacher Report.

According to her WWE biography, Morgan was drafted in the 2021 class.

"At WWE Money in the Bank 2022, Morgan realized her dream and won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Her night didn't end there, however, as she cashed in on SmackDown Women's Champion Ronda Rousey later in the evening, beating the Baddest Woman on the Planet to capture the title," read her biography.
