14 Arrested During Drug Raid At Azalea Motel

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The newly formed St. Petersburg Police Anti-Crime Team concluded a four-day investigation into suspected drug dealing at the Azalea Court Motel, making 14 arrests on Thursday.

PACT said drug dealing was taking place from multiple rooms at the motel at 8210 4th St. N.

Trafficking amounts of methamphetamine were seized, along with significant amounts of heroin crack cocaine, pills and marijuana. Guns and several thousand dollars in cash were confiscated as well.

Of the 14 arrests, three included accused drug dealers including Jesse Strable, 23; Selena Alvarez, 21; and Brooke Bird, 23. They were charged with multiple crimes including selling illegal drugs, armed trafficking, possession of a firearm by a felon, fleeing and eluding and removal of a firearm serial number.
