2 Children Struck By Car On 18th Avenue South

A 6-year-old is in critical but stable condition.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a crash involving two children in the 2700 block of 18th Avenue South near 28th Street South.

On Friday, Nov. 30, at 5:35 p.m., a silver 2000 Toyota Celica driven by Jordan Davis, 28, was eastbound on 18th Avenue South when Alyisha Woods, 13, and Shirnice Johnson, 6, stepped into the path of the car.

Shirnice Johnson was transported to the hospital where she is in critical but stable condition. Alyisha Woods received minor injuries.
