23rd Annual CraftArt Festival Canceled Due To COVID-19 Concerns
CraftArt Festival board members are in the process of creating a smaller event to help benefit local artists.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL βSt. Petersburg's upcoming 23rd Annual CraftArt Festival that takes place on Central Avenue will not be held as a street festival this year due to safety concerns with the coronavirus pandemic, said the Florida CraftArt's board members.
The board is in the process of determining whether it will be held as a fine craft virtual festival experience and/or a smaller physical fine craft show.
CraftArt Festival 2020 was scheduled for November 21 and 22.

The board did not mention if what they decide on will be scheduled for the same dates.
Florida CraftArt Gallery said it will book private Tuesday appointments starting on Thursday, and it will be open to the public every Wednesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m after being closed months for the coronavirus pandemic.

Following Center for Disease Control guidelines, the number of people in the gallery will be limited and gallery staff will follow strict sanitation protocol.
Florida CraftArt staff said masks are required to be worn properly during the entire visit to the gallery.
