2nd Murder Suspect Charged In Teen’s Fatal Shooting: St. Pete Police
A 15-year-old was shot to death the night of Dec. 29 while walking near 9th Avenue S. and 16th Street S., St. Petersburg police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A second suspect was arrested and charged in the Dec. 29 fatal shooting of a teenager, according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release.
David Moore, 18, faces a first-degree felony murder charge, police said.
A 17-year-old was also charged with first-degree felony murder the day after the shooting.

While police released that suspect's name, it is Patch's policy not to identify those in the juvenile court system. Patch has reached out to St. Petersburg police about whether the suspect is being charged as an adult or juvenile.

Zy’Kiquiro Lofton, 15, was fatally shot shortly after 9 p.m. as he was walking near 9th Avenue S. and 16th Street S.
Witnesses told WFTS that he was chased by three other young men before being shot near the PURE gas station at that intersection.
