Backed by $63.5 million in financing, the development will mix affordable and market-rate units across 12 buildings with shared amenities like a pool, shaping future housing options in the city.
   

2. St. Petersburg Teen In Custody After Early Morning Shooting Leaves Stepfather Injured (tampafp.com) — An 18-year-old St. Petersburg resident is in custody after police say an early-morning argument at a Cherry Street NE home ended with his 34-year-old stepfather shot and seriously injured. Officers responded around 4:20 a.m., and the victim was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in stable condition while the suspect later surrendered; detectives say the case remains under active investigation.
   

3. Food-Delivery Robots Could Be Coming to St. Petersburg (tbbwmag.com) — St. Petersburg officials may soon start formally exploring sidewalk delivery robots in busy restaurant districts and other hard-to-park areas, a move that could change how you get takeout. A council committee could be tasked Thursday with studying how to encourage and regulate autonomous delivery under existing Florida law, looking at safety rules, permits, and where the devices could operate.
   

4. St. Pete museums will go admission-free Saturday (stpetecatalyst.com) — St. Petersburg residents can visit nearly all of the city's major museums for free this Saturday, Sept. 19, as part of a locally organized Free Museum Day. With institutions like the Dalí, Museum of Fine Arts, Imagine Museum, and more participating—many requiring Pinellas ID or advance registration—it's a chance to explore new exhibits without admission costs.
   

5. Art After Dark featuring Sundé, Café Clementine & Lost Coast Oyster Co. (stpetecatalyst.com) — Art lovers in St. Petersburg can enjoy Art After Dark, an after-hours museum experience featuring local musician Sundé, organic wines and bites from Café Clementine, and a raw bar by Lost Coast Oyster Co. Select Thursday evenings offer discounted admission, special programming, and docent-led tours, making it an easy night out built around local art, food, and music.
